African River Safari & Victoria Falls
Africa has a special place in our hearts. Cassandra found out she was expecting a day before our 17 hour flight to Jonannesburg. Hospital Staff said we were crazy to go, but the trip was non-refundable at that point and we couldn’t afford to let it get away.
Our 1st family video was in the Zambezi River atop Victoria Falls.
8 months later we named our baby girl Amarula – the Spirit of Africa.
The Journey
You’ll arrive at Tambo Airport. The luxuorious Tambo Intercontinental Hotel is adjacent to the airport. It has an amazing spa, bar restaurant and indoor pool with fabulous runway view.
We recommend two nights and a Spa Day to acclimate to the time change. After checkout, you’ll walk from the hotel lobby to airport check in for your 2 hour flight to Kasane Botswana.
Chobe River Safari & Victoria Falls
You’ll spend 4 unplugged nights aboard Zambezi Queen exploring Chobe River National Park- the natural border of Botswana & Namibia. You’ll take smaller safari boats for photos & fishing.
Then you’ll drive 80 minutes to Zambia’s Tongabezi Lodge – an all inclusive luxury lodge on the Zambezi River. You can explore Victoria Falls and walk with rare White Rhinos at Mosi oa Tunya Park.
